Full faces

Full Faces explores the fragility of thte wya we perceive the world and the impermanence of human connection. People come and go from my life, often without me realizing it was the last moment I would share with them, a final hug, a laugh, their face. I am not afraid of my own absence, but I fear how quickly the details of others fade. Working with kallitype, a process itself tied to time, imperfection, and fading, I mirror the instability of life. Each print holds a tension between presence and disappearance. Humor mixes with this tension, sometimes confrontational, sometimes unsettling, as a way to disarm both myself and the viewer. Through these images, I confront my own vulnerability while inviting others to sit with the uneasy truth that forgetting is as human as remembering.
