Bright & Careless (2025) is an ongoing color photography series that employs an off-camera flash to capture raw, intimate moments of daily life suspended in time. The work uses humor to counterbalance the often aggressive nature of flash street photography, reframing the burst of light as a tool of preservation rather than intrusion. Each frame freezes a subject in motion, exposing both the fleeting vitality and the gritty realities of urban and rural life.
